Our team strives always to provide a safe place for individuals and families to find healing and hope through life's ups and downs. This safe space begins with your relationship with your therapist and is foundational to the healing process. Our therapists pursue the highest levels of education and training to offer our clients the most competent care.

We look forward to meeting you and walking through this journey with you.

Dr. Meg Roetto- DMFT, LCSW
Director

I am passionate about walking alongside families and individuals as they work through trauma, grief and loss, family transitions, parenting struggles, and other difficulties in their lives. I have my Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy, am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  I am nationally certified in adoption competent counseling and have extensive training in grief and loss, family therapy, trauma, attachment, and play therapy. I am Level 1 & 2 EMDR trained and am pursuing an EMDR certification so I can more wholistically support clients' healing with regard to trauma. I also research ambiguous loss theory to improve my client's lives and the field as a whole.

I work with individuals and families of all ages through many difficulties and believe we all deserve a safe place to be heard and work through our own unique circumstances and trauma. I find it a privilege to walk through life's journey with so many beautiful individuals and families.

Life is full of challenging times and transitions, and I understand how vital compassion and support can be when struggling through these challenges. I have spent time working with foster, adopted, and troubled youth in residential treatment, rehousing programs, and case management. I work with all ages but especially love helping children and youth affected by foster care and adoption.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and actively working on training to become a credentialed Play therapist under a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. I am nationally certified in adoption competent counseling and specifically focus on grief and ambiguous loss, trauma, attachment, and play therapy to help you through your unique situations.

Sydney Vandegrift- LMSW

I am passionate about working with people; it is my mission to provide services that bring clarity and healing to people's lives. I have experience working with individuals who struggle with mental health and behavioral health needs. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused therapeutic approaches when working with individuals. I believe people's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are closely linked. I utilize these approaches to bring about awareness while also discussing potential solutions to problems. I will partner with you, challenge you, and support you through this exploration and healing process.

I became a therapist because I too have had hurt in my life and reached out to gain understanding and healing. Part of being a good therapist is that I would never ask you to do something that I, myself, wouldn't do or haven't done. I understand reaching out and beginning this process is intimidating; but I am here to walk through this journey with you.

I am a Licensed Master of Social Work under the supervision of Spero's owner, Dr. Meg Roetto, DMFT, LCSW, LMFT. I am nationally certified in adoption competent counseling. I am Level 1 & 2 EMDR trained and am pursuing an EMDR certification.

My passion for this field of work comes from my deep and genuine belief that we are all inherently worthy- just the way we are. My desire is to help my clients find the confidence to truly accept and understand themselves, despite any struggles they may be experiencing. Tunyaluk Batchan- SMFT

I am a bilingual therapist who is passionate and experienced in working with children, adolescents, and adults, including LGBTQIA+ teens and adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, transitional issues, relationship/separation, and other mental health concerns. I am also trained and practice EMDR to treat clients who have experienced trauma. I help clients become desensitized and unstuck in unhealthy patterns, painful relationships, or overwhelming circumstances and create hope. I use a variety of approaches to build awareness of emotions and thoughts, explore how we connect/disconnect from them, take responsibility for choices made or not made, and change the patterns engraved in us. I believe in a collaborative approach to joining their life's knowledge into the growth process to create healthy movement through life's obstacles. I am a registered Supervised Marriage and Family Therapist under the supervision of Spero's owner, Dr. Meg Roetto, DMFT, LCSW, LMFT.
